Welcome to Australian Society for Computerised Dentistry Inc
The ASCD is the premier dental group for CAD/CAM generated chairside ceramics and computers in clinical dentistry. Our members promote advanced care for patients who want the highest quality dental treatment available today.
ASCD dentists devote themselves to providing ceramic restorations with unparalleled beauty, longevity, and strength. They're also interested in all facets of dental health care which utilise computers and computing to deliver real benefits for their patients. For more on the clinical applications of computers in modern dental care, click here.
Members are active users of one of several computerised systems for tooth restoration and conservation. These include the 'Cerec' CAD/CAM system, sold by Sirona Dental Systems Australia and 'E4D' sold by Henry Schein|Halas. We maintain a list of members who provide single-visit chairside ceramic and porcelain restorations in Australia here.
